The Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA, Chairman Cho Jun-hee) held a business consultation meeting with 10 domestic software (SW) companies on the 22nd at the Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) in Tokyo, Japan as part of the joint advancement support project hosted by Megazone Cloud (CEO Lee Ju-wan) and the Small and Medium Business and Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation Foundation.
The 10 companies participating in the consultation meeting were Daliworks, Moin Co., Ltd., Suresoft Tech Co., Ltd., Meisa Co., Ltd., Newin Co., Ltd., Penta Security Co., Ltd., Inventis Co., Ltd., Futuremain Co., Ltd., RGT Co., Ltd., and BHSN Co., Ltd.
The event began with a program introduction by Katsushi Hayashi, Tokyo Metropolitan Government Startup Promotion Division Officer, followed by IR pitching by participating companies and business consultations at individual booths. In particular, Suresoft Tech discussed business collaboration with Fujitsu in the automotive domain solutions sector, and Meisa held a business meetup with Mori Building Group for construction drone solutions.
The event was attended by Japanese companies that paid attention to the technological prowess of Korean software (SW) companies, including SUN Group, SBI Investment, Mori Building, and ITOCHU ENEX. They conducted in-depth networking with Korean SW companies and discussed technological cooperation plans and market entry opportunities between Korea and Japan. In particular, KOSA reported that Japanese large company open innovation managers and startup venture capitalists showed great interest in the innovative solutions of Korean companies and sought specific collaboration plans.
On the 21st, the day before the event, 10 participating companies visited Itochu Techno Solutions, a subsidiary of Itochu, one of Japan's top five general trading companies, to conduct IR pitching for local partners and held a Japanese entry strategy seminar to help participating companies increase their understanding of the Japanese market and share successful localization strategies.
